The Royalton City Council has taken the next step toward hiring a new city administrator.
During its meeting Tuesday, Oct. 7, the council approved a salary range and authorized posting the position, which was officially listed the following day, Oct. 8.
Council members reviewed an updated job description developed with input from the city attorney and a council committee. The version now posted online is a condensed version of that document. Mayor Brenda Weiss-Pesta said the first review of applications will take place Oct. 21, though the position will remain open until filled.
