A sneak peek inside the Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum

After years of planning, the new Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum near Camp Ripley is nearly ready to open.
It's a 40,000 square foot facility that features authentic artifacts and stories.
"A long time coming, but it's going to be worth the wait," said Randal Dietrich, the museum's executive director.
Planning and construction of the museum began five years ago, but the idea has been in the works for decades. Over time, Minnesota veterans have been visiting the camp in Little Falls, eager to share their experiences with anyone who will listen.
