The public will have an opportunity to review proposed alternatives for replacing the Highway 27 bridge over the Mississippi River during an open house Thursday, Sept. 17.
The open house will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Little Falls City Hall, 100 7th Ave. NE. Attendees may review the alternatives, ask questions and submit comments. The family-friendly event is open to all ages.
The city of Little Falls is working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Federal Railroad Administration to address safety and traffic concerns near the bridge. Many of those concerns are associated with the at-grade railroad crossing at the west end of the bridge.
