Upsala celebrating community

The folks in Upsala welcome all to join them in celebrating this year’s Heritage Day, with the theme of “Farms, Fields & Family.”
The event is kicked off the Monday before, when the medallion hunt begins Monday, Aug. 4. Clues will be posted on the Upsala city website at www.cityofupsala.com and at area businesses.
While most of the festivities are held Saturday, Aug. 9, the Upstage Junior Theater Camp will present Shrek the Musical Friday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Upsala Area Schools auditorium. Another performance is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m.
