Habitat for Humanity of Morrison County is thrilled to announce it has received a $120,000 grant from Farmers & Merchants Bank of Pierz and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) through the Member Impact Fund. This grant is part of $20 million in funding awarded by FHLB Des Moines through a matching grant program to support affordable housing and community development in Minnesota.

Executive Director, Kathy Lange, states, “These Impact Funds are vital in advancing affordable housing in our communities. With the increase in the cost of housing over the past several years, it has become challenging to provide affordable housing. With community support such as this opportunity provided by the F&M Bank, our organization can continue to provide the dream of homeownership!
