Excitement flowed when Kayla Bates, branch manager of Magnifi Financial in Little Falls, as well as her team learned that the member-owned credit union was named “Large Business of the Year” by the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism.
“I was super surprised and in shock, happy that somebody had taken the time to nominate is that we were voted as Large Business of the Year,” she said.
Magnifi Financial branch in Little Falls was established in 2013. At that time, Bates said, the financial institution was called Central Minnesota Credit Union but changed its name in 2022 in an effort to better reflect the communities it was serving in greater Minnesota.
