At its Tuesday, Dec. 17 meeting, the Morrison County Board of Commissioners took action on a pair of initiatives from the public works department aimed at upgrading the county's transportation infrastructure.
First, the board approved a resolution supporting the county's application for federal transportation funding. If awarded, these funds would be used for a project to rehabilitate a section of a road which Public Works Director Tony Hennen described as having "seen better days.”
"The projects we're looking at might be a little more extensive, so we're hoping for some outside funding on that,” Hennen said.
