During its Wednesday, Aug. 14 meeting, the Randall City Council voted to approve the new logo and color for the City’s water tower as part of its rehabilitation project.
The color of the water tower will be blue with black lettering for the logo. The writing of the logo will be in cursive.
Members of the Council briefly considered adding the City’s slogan of “Little City with a Big Heart” to the water tower logo, as well as adding a red heart to the logo. However, this would add to the costs of painting and the entire phrase and heart would be difficult to fit on the tower while being legible from afar.
