Hometown couple brings back Papa Murphy's to Little Falls with passion, perseverance

After a brief closure left a void in the local pizza landscape, the beloved Papa Murphy’s franchise has returned to Little Falls thanks to a determined couple with deep roots in the community. Kevin and Jodi Olson, who previously owned a locksmith business and in-home child care in Hutchinson, have taken over the Papa Murphy’s location and are working tirelessly to get the business back on its feet.

The Olsons’ journey to Little Falls began just over two years ago when they decided to sell their home in Hutchinson and relocate closer to Kevin’s aging parents, as well as their own children and grandchildren, who had also moved to the area.

“(Our) whole neighborhood is almost all family, so that’s kind of cool, a little bit unique,” Kevin said. “We’ve got five grandchildren within walking distance of the house.”
