Bull riders, barrel racers, sheep-riding kiddos and visitors are getting ready to have a good time at the second annual Morrison County Bulls & Barrels Rodeo. The event will be held Saturday, June 1, with gates opening at noon and the show starting at 2 p.m. at the Morrison County Fairgrounds, located at 15575 Hawthorn Road, Little Falls.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of action-filled events, including bull riding, mini bull riding, barrel racing, junior barrel racing, and mutton busting. Rodeo Producer Cassie Baum said kiddos who want to ride a sheep in the mutton busting event and weigh less than 55 pounds will need to pre-register. Parents are directed to contact Baum at (320) 360-4914 for more information. Only 15 kids will be entered into the event, she said.

There will also be several food and merchandise vendors on site. Tickets are sold “at the gate,” but can be pre-purchased at Coborn’s in Little Falls, Pierz Veterinary Clinic, and Royalton Lumber & Hardware.
