Zach Baert, Pierz Parks Complex superintendent, updated the Council on the work at the golf course — both the established nine holes and the new nine holes. He also asked for a cash payout for hours of compensatory time, which, according to City Administrator Bob Otremba, includes 73 hours of compensation Baert should have received in April.
“With all the overtime and stuff I was putting in this year, I guess I’d like to request a payout of everything over my 240 that I normally work — which is 250 hours,” he said, which he attributed largely to working on the new nine holes of the golf course.
In the Council’s packet was Baert’s request for 242 hours of compensatory pay.
