The Little Falls City Council discussed a proposed ordinance that would restrict the places recreational and special vehicles could travel within the city during a special work session Monday, Oct. 2.
Examples of recreational and special vehicles include all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), trail bikes and golf carts, according to the proposed ordinance.
Assistant Police Chief Kyle Johnson said the proposed ordinance was a “first draft” and it was informed by input from the League of Minnesota Cities and some model ordinances.
“I feel like this, the way we put this together, I think it makes it a lot easier for citizens to understand what types of vehicles they can and can’t use, as we’ve designated,” Johnson said.
