The media center could be getting a new address within Little Falls Community High School, making room for eight classrooms in the space it leaves behind.

The Little Falls Community School District board approved the estimated $2.4 million remodel Monday, Oct. 19, along with a revised $19.1 million long-term facilities maintenance plan covering indoor air quality improvements, roof replacements and asbestos abatement.

The remodel would move the media center to the west end of the second floor. Its current location would be converted into eight classrooms, with four additional classrooms planned elsewhere — one in social studies and three in English.
