Having tackled Phase 2 of the construction project at Swanville Public Schools for several months, Phase 2 is on schedule, said Superintendent Todd Lee.
“We have hit all of the timelines and have not had any real hiccups. The main reason is that the majority of it is new construction versus renovations,” he said.
As to a timeline for the four new classrooms, dedicated art room, wood shop and weight room to be completed, Lee anticipates a substantial completion of Phase 2 at the end of December or early January 2027. Furniture will also be delivered for the week after Christmas, so Lee is crossing his fingers in hope it will be up and running by the time students return from winter break.
