Franciscan Sisters’ One Planet Fund grant applications due November 1

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, established the One Planet Fund in 2021. This small grant fund seeks to support projects that promote care of creation and respond to the challenges of climate change and its impact on our environment. To date, nearly 40 grants have been awarded to support projects that promote care and respect for the earth, protect our environment and bring awareness to the urgent need to act now! Examples include funds for tree planting, pollinator gardens, native habitat restoration, environmental education, composting and recycling programs and more! Schools, churches, youth groups and other nonprofits are encouraged to apply.
