Zak of All Trades: When a bold move becomes your brand

People would think twice before explicitly adding on their resume that they are a “jack of all trades”. Zak Otremba took that chance despite warning and landed a job after cleverly describing himself as Zak of all trades. Today, his bold move evolved into creating his own business.

Otremba has always had an eye for working with his hands from a young age.

“My grandparents say that I was always organizing and cleaning and I had a lot of Legos, so I built giant stuff out of Legos. I think from an early age it was kind of an interest and desire of mine to build stuff and fix stuff. My dad was in cleaning and in construction and so I kind of had that from him. He passed when I was nine,” he said.
