Area school board races draw 20 candidates for 14 open seats

Voters in five area school districts will choose candidates to fill 14 open school board seats Nov. 3, with contested races developing in Little Falls, Pierz and Swanville, while Royalton drew two candidates for two seats and Upsala had only one candidate file for three openings.
Little Falls
Eight candidates have filed for three open seats on the Little Falls School Board, creating the largest field among the five area districts.
Jared Festler, Sarah Marrow, Andrew Petersen, Adam James Petrich, Nicholas A. Prozinski, incumbent Dan Schilling, Aaron Sinclair and Brian Zilka have filed for the three seats.
