Classic cuts, lasting connections and men’s haircare at Central Barber Shop

Located on Broadway in historic downtown Little Falls and known as the oldest commercial building in town, clients have gathered at the local barber shop for decades to get a haircut, beard trim or a straight razor shave. While men’s hairstyles have changed over the years, Riley Rinas, owner of Central Barber Shop, offers a variety of styles, from the classic cuts to more technical cuts, such as fades and tapers. Those, he said, are his favorite.

Rinas purchased Central Barber Shop from Todd Ackerman a couple of years ago. Although he no longer retains the business, Ackerman, who owned the business for 33 years, continues to provide his expertise and skills as a barber at the shop. It is also home to a third barber — Yusif Kemokai, who hails from Sierra Leone, and brings his own specialized knowledge in men’s haircare.
