Swanville celebrates major stepping stone in referendum project

A huge stepping stone was reached for Swanville Public Schools in its construction project to improve its educational needs for current and future students, Thursday, April 9. Celebrating the progress in securing the vote-approved $13.375 million bond referendum, completing designs and accepting bids with a groundbreaking ceremony, the Swanville Board of Education members and staff members dug into the ground with gold-colored shovels.
One aspect of the project that was continuously brought up is the amazing support for the school from the community. That support is not only visible in its choice to approve the bond referendum, but is shared daily in one way or another. It also stands out to outsiders.
