The next chapter for Dr. Knight Elementary School is beginning to take shape.
The Little Falls School Board approved the sale of the former Randall school building to Elk River-based Briggs Properties for $100,000, clearing the way for what district officials say could become a new senior living facility serving the community.
Superintendent Greg Johnson told the board the district secured a counteroffer from Briggs that includes the purchase price along with the company covering closing costs and any additional building assessments, up to $125,000.
