Swanville staple Patriots Cafe sold

The Patriots Cafe has been serving the customers of Swanville and beyond for nearly five years, first opening in April 2021. Although it is soon changing ownership, owner Sherry Ramsey hopes the new owner will carry the cafe’s legacy forward.

Before Ramsey took ownership of the cafe in 2021, it had gone by many names with many different owners, but it’s been a cafe for as long as anyone can remember. Under any of the previous owners, the cafe was known for a cozy, small-town atmosphere and a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. During the interview, a lively church group filled the cafe with conversation and laughter, not an uncommon sight at all for the Patriots Cafe.
