Those making the trip on Highway 10 from Little Falls to Motley might not notice anything out of the ordinary along their route. However, if curious drivers were to turn right onto Azure Road, about halfway between Cushing and Motley, they would be rewarded with discovering a sprawling, inviting resort.

Boasting 20 cabins that can collectively accommodate up to 200 people, the Campfire Bay Resort is like a small town in and of itself, complete with a recreation center, game room, day spa, and many weekly organized activities.

The highlight of the resort for most visitors, however, is the Fish Trap Lake it is next to. One cabin is even on an island on the lake itself, which the Sams family owns and operates despite it being separate from the Campfire Bay Resort.
