Little Falls Bakery & Deli delivers near-century of heritage, holiday treats

It’s a brisk December morning in Little Falls, with near-negative temperatures, snow and ice making even a short walk feel treacherous. However, the trip is well worth it when stepping into the Little Falls Bakery & Deli, as delicious aromas of coffee and baked goods fill the air along with warmth — both in terms of temperature and the warm atmosphere created by the establishment’s friendly staff.

Although the bakery and deli has been owned and operated by Mike and Dawn Lattimer for the past five years, the bakery has a much longer history. Before being taken over by the Lattimers, it was known as Pete and Joy’s Bakery for around 30 years, with previous owners running the bakery even before then. In total, the building has been serving delicious baked goods since the 1930s, nearing a century of history.
