SWCD Lance Chisholm retires after 17 years

After working at the Morrison Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) for 17 years, Easement Coordinator Lance Chisholm is set to retire.

Just as much as he is looking forward to the next chapter of his life, one thing is for sure, he said — he is going to miss SWCD and the people he has connected with over the years.

He will also be missed by those very people, said SWCD Manager Shannon Wettstein

“He is a big reason our customers keep coming back to work with us, because of the experience they had working with Lance,” she said. “Personally, I will miss Lance tremendously. He is the best employee a boss like me could ever hope for and the type of person you want to have a beer with at the end of a long day. He is a big part of the reason the culture of this office is the way it is. He works to encourage those around him and is willing to step up to offer the help to get things done.”
