Recently, Anderson Custom Processing in Little Falls celebrated its 50-year anniversary. It was a time of joy amidst a recollection of its history and its founder, Glen B. Anderson. Today, the company is owned by his children President David Anderson, Chairman of the Board Brian Anderson, Denice Anderson and Brenda (Anderson) Hudalla.

Brian and David said the half-century milestone mean a lot to them. Not only in the sense of the business having withstood a number of changes with time, but having reached the goal of having a good manufacturing facility, having a good lifestyle and creating a place of work where the employees are genuinely satisfied, Brian said.

The children has also continued to work well together through the years. While such may seem rather simple, Brian said the reality is that a lot of companies don’t make it because of family squabble.     Reminiscing about the company’s history, Brian said 50 years ago in 1974, the building in which Anderson Custom Processing calls home, was a creamery. The business, which was called Mid-America, was in the process of shutting down and getting the building ready to be sold, Brian said.
