Photo gallery: Eucharistic Procession through Little Falls

A crowd estimated at about 1,000 gathered in Little Falls on the morning of Thursday, May 23 for a Eucharistic Procession in anticipation of the 10th National Eucharistic Congress meeting in July in Indianapolis. The procession went east from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Eucharistic Adoration was held at Our Lady of Lourdes, while a Mass was held at St. Mary’s. A Eucharistic procession involves a priest or bishop carrying a monstrance (a vessel) containing the True Presence of Jesus from one location to another, followed by other pilgrims.
