$613,600 awarded to Little Falls for rail spur improvements

The City of Little Falls will be receiving more than $600,000 from a Minnesota Rail Service Improvement Program grant designed fund railroad crossing improvement project projects throughout Minnesota.
The $613,600 grant is one of 11 projects funded by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. In all, $9.6 million was awarded to the 11 projects.
In Little Falls, the funds will be used for what is called the Camp Ripley Spur Crossing Improvement project to update the pedestrian railroad crossings at First Street and Fourth Street in Little Falls.
