Event is held at a new location.

There is a lot to be done to prepare for the annual Community Thanksgiving in Little Falls. However, it is all done with joy and an excitement for people in the community to gather and enjoy fellowship with one another, said Coordinator Tim Sumner.

The free event will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Falls Ballroom, located at 15870 Highway 27, Little Falls. As the doors will open at 10 a.m., Sumner encourages people to stop by early to connect with other “early birds.” After all, he said, it is a time for the community to get together.

Those with a Little Falls address who are in need of a ride to and from the event may call Sumner at (320) 6322540 to arrange transportation at no cost.

The meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cranberries, dinner rolls and a Thanksgiving desert. A variety of beverages will be offered, such as coffee, water, fruit punch and milk. Violinist Dan Holmes will provide live music.
