Lakes Area Aviation, in conjunction with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), announced the second annual “Fall Color Fly-in” at the Little Falls/Morrison County Airport Saturday, Sept. 30. This free event is open to the public and kicks off at 11 a.m. and runs to 4 p.m. It promises to have something entertaining for everyone in the family.
Aside from the main attraction of seeing the aircraft up close and personal, other activities include a brat feed (with a freewill donation), a bouncy house for the kids, door prizes, scenic flights, air rides, mini doughnuts, cotton candy. For those who enjoy vehicles a little closer to the ground, a class car show will also be on site.
A wide range of aircraft will be on display including a Kodiak Turboprop and even a corporate jet from Clubjet, a charter company based at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie. Donate to the EAA via raffle tickets and to take a chance to be one of the lucky six winners to take a ride around Mille Lacs Lake in the jet.
