Opportunity knocks: Established Papa Murphy's location in Little Falls now for sale

Nearing the end of the 10-year franchise licensing and store rental agreements, Kevin and Jodi Olson, owners of Papa Murphy's in Little Falls, are hoping to find someone who will take over the beloved franchise. Well into their mid-60s, it is time to scale back on work duties due to burnout and to focus on family, his other businesses, hobbies and more. Committing to another 10-year licensing agreement is just not in the cards. There are also promises to be kept.

“I promised two years ago my grandkids that I’d build them a tree house and I haven’t done it yet, so I want to do that before they’re too old to enjoy it,” he said.

Olson said although the franchise licensing and store rental agreements are set to expire in December, he and his wife wanted to start looking for someone now.
