Finding a home at Coborn’s: Tiffany Baker settles into store director role in Little Falls

Tiffany Baker has served as the current store director at the Little Falls Coborn's grocery store for about five months, but her full history with Coborn’s goes back much longer than that.

Baker first started in 2021 as an overnight manager at a Cash Wise, which is owned by Coborn’s, in Waite Park. From there, Baker quickly rose the ranks, being promoted to a dayside shift manager, bakery manager, assistant store director and then a director in training in just a few years.

As a director in training, Baker spent a full year rotating through multiple stores and departments under the Coborn’s banner. Some directors in training will travel between multiple states during their year, with Coborn’s having locations in Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. However, Baker requested that she be trained at locations within Minnesota, as she didn’t want to be away from her family for so long. Coborn’s honored Baker’s request, with her sometimes travelling hours away from home each day to train at different locations, but never so far that she wasn’t able to come home to her children at the end of every day.
