From Little Falls Flyer to Air Force flyer: The inspiring journey of Britian Conley

Britian Conley always knew she wanted to fly. As a child growing up in Little Falls, she spent countless hours at the airport in Fargo, North Dakota, watching military jets soar through the sky. That early fascination would eventually lead her on an incredible journey, from a college ROTC program to becoming a bomber pilot in the United States Air Force.
Conley’s path to the cockpit was not without its challenges. After being initially passed over for a pilot slot, she refused to give up on her dream.
“At first, I was pretty upset about that,” Conley said. “I had a list of five other jobs that I did not get selected for. This job wasn’t even on my list at all.”
