Preparations for the capital improvement project moving along in Upsala

Plans for Upsala’s school capital improvement project are moving right along in anticipation of summer. Recently, some changes were required to the design and the process which resulted in savings for the district.
“We switched the brand of boilers in order to add an LP backup system instead of a fuel oil backup,” said Superintendent Vern Capelle. “We need the backup fuel system because our current natural gas supplier is unable to service our needs during high demand periods.”
