International Process Plants (IPP), a global leader in the acquisition and sale of process plants and equipment, is pleased to announce its acquisition of the 22-million-gallons-per-year Superbrewed Food fermentation plant in Little Falls, Minnesota.
The transaction closed March 27, 2024. Terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone for IPP as it expands its portfolio to include assets in the fermentation/biochemical industry. Located in the heart of the third-largest corn producing U.S. state, the Little Falls facility can be used by companies for several applications, including alternative proteins, biochemicals, biofuels, or high-grade ethanol. In its current configuration, the plant can be used to produce bio butanol and bio acetone.
