City of Pierz

July 01, 2015

Category: Community Links

Pierz is in the heart of Central Minnesota and prides itself on its small town atmosphere. The area was originally settled in the 1860's by German Catholics and was incorporated as a town in 1892. Pierz is a progressive community committed to providing an environment conducive to success.

A stable and diverse economic base has supported Pierz throughout its history. Businesses ranging from hardware to boutiques occupy our mile long Main Street.  With the help of our Small Cities Development Grant and the completion of the MN DOT HWY 25, Main Street has been revamped and is a sight to see!
